BC’s construction industry is navigating a period of economic pressures, succession shifts, and upcoming legislative changes. Join us for a focused workshop designed for builders, renovators, contractors, trades, and business owners who want to get ahead of what is coming next.

Doane Grant Thornton LLP will introduce the “All-Purpose” structure, a flexible and tax-efficient framework that supports sale, succession, and transition planning for owner-managed construction businesses. Attendees will learn how early planning preserves wealth, minimizes tax burdens, and creates more options for future outcomes.

Pushor Mitchell LLP will provide a legal briefing on Bill 20 – 2025, the Construction Prompt Payment Act, recently introduced by the provincial government. While the Act is not yet in force, understanding its requirements now will help ensure contracts, billing systems, and payment practices are ready when the new rules take effect.
